My story
EARLY YEARS
From the land of ancient Greek gods
I grew up in Larisa, Greece, surrounded by music, history, and a deep respect for community. From an early age, I was drawn to understanding how people live, grow, and face challenges — a curiosity that led me to study social policy in Athens and to volunteer with groups facing inequality and exclusion.
GLOBAL EXPERIENCE
Learning across continents
That curiosity took me far from home: working with people with disabilities in Estonia, supporting children with behavioural challenges in Denmark, and teaching in Malawi. Each experience deepened my belief that real impact doesn’t come from creating dependency — it comes from giving people the tools, confidence, and opportunities to thrive independently.
LAUNCHING VENTURES
BinFree & Lysistrate
To bring this belief into practice, I studied social entrepreneurship in Estonia and soon launched my own ventures.
In 2020, I founded BinFree, which began as a social enterprise offering a doorstep service for deposit packages ahas since evolved into knowledge-sharing activities related to social and impact entrepreneurship.
In 2023, I founded Lysistrate NGO, that empowers women and communities to act for justice and sustainability.
Alongside these ventures, I began working as a facilitator, trainer, and mentor across Europe supporting leaders and organisations to turn vision into action.
RESILLYENCE & REFLECTION
Rethinking strength
My journey hasn’t been linear.
As a migrant woman, I’ve navigated inequality, burnout, and the constant pressure to “be resilient”. These experiences taught me that resilience means noticing when we’ve reached our limits, reflecting on what matters, and making intentional choices to move forward.
This perspective inspired my podcast Resillyence where I explore what resilience really means through honest, sometimes messy, stories of learning, adapting and finding new ways to grow.
MY FOCUS TODAY
Creating impact across themes
Today, my work spans social entrepreneurship, climate leadership, and gender equality. To deepen my expertise and explore innovative approaches in these fields, I am pursuing a second Master’s in social innovation and entrepreneurship at LSE in London.
What ties it all together is the belief that real change grows from trust, inclusion, and sustainability.
To empody this belief, I create spaces where people feel safe, respected, and empowered to take meaningful action for themselves, their organisations and the communities.
Real change doesn’t come from quick fixes. It grows by honoring the wisdom of the past, embracing today’s innovations, and shaping sustainable paths for tomorrow.
